Assistant Site Manager
Location: HMP Norwich
Working Hours: 43 per week (Start Time 7.15 am) Mon - Fri
Key Responsibilities

Site Supervision: Assist the Site Manager on reroofing project (live prison environment).
*
Quality Control: Conduct regular inspections to ensure work meets required standards and specifications.
*
Health & Safety Compliance: Enforce site safety protocols, conduct risk assessments, and ensure adherence to health and safety regulations.
*
Team Coordination: Manage subcontractors and trades, ensuring tasks are completed on time and to quality standards.
*
Documentation: Maintain accurate records, including daily logs, progress reports, and quality inspections.

Essential Qualifications & Skills

Certifications:
*
SMSTS (Site Management Safety Training Scheme)
*
First Aid
*
CSCS (Construction Skills Certification Scheme) Card
* DBS not required but needs to demonstrate non-criminal activity
*
Experience:

Proven experience in a similar role within the construction industry.
*
Experience working on traditional build housing schemes is advantageous.
*
Skills:

Strong organisational and communication skills.
*
Ability to manage multiple tasks and work under pressure.
