Are you an ambitious Assistant Town Planner with a passion for delivering well-designed, sustainable developments? I'm currently working with a leading national housebuilder renowned for their high-quality residential schemes, who are looking to expand their in-house planning team based in Warwickshire.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with 1-3 years of experience in town planning-either in the private or public sector-who is looking to develop their career in a fast-paced, commercially-driven environment.
The Role:
You'll be joining a highly experienced team supporting the planning function across a portfolio of sites, from early-stage promotion through to full applications and post-consent work. You'll work closely with land, technical, and design teams to help secure permissions for much-needed new homes across the region.
Responsibilities:
Assist with preparing and submitting planning applications and supporting documents
Conduct planning appraisals to assess development opportunities
Monitor local plans and policy changes
Liaise with local authorities, consultants, and internal teams
Support senior planners with appeals and community consultations
About You:
Degree in Town Planning or related field (RTPI accredited)
Working towards or recently achieved RTPI membership
Strong communication and report-writing skills
A proactive and organised approach to work
Interest in residential development and the private sector
