I’m recruiting for a top 20 accountancy firm with a well-established presence in Reading. Known for delivering technical excellence and offering strong, long-term progression, they’re now looking for an Audit Senior to join their growing team.
This is an ideal next step if you’re confident running audits, enjoy mentoring juniors, and want to take on more responsibility in a supportive and respected firm.
What you’ll be doing
* Leading audit assignments from planning to completion
* Managing on-site teams and reviewing junior staff work
* Acting as the key contact for clients during engagements
* Preparing and reviewing financial statements
* Reporting directly to managers and partners
You’ll be working on a broad mix of owner-managed businesses across a range of sectors, with real exposure to leadership and clients.
What our client is looking for
* ACA or ACCA qualified (or finalist)
* Experience leading audits in a UK practice environment
* Comfortable managing junior staff and liaising with clients
* Confident reviewing accounts and identifying technical issues
* Strong communicator, motivated, and keen to keep developing
