We are working in partnership with a welcoming and inclusive school in Yate, South Gloucestershire, to recruit a dedicated Autism Support Assistant to start as soon as possible.
The Role:
As an Autism Support Assistant, you will join a caring and experienced team, supporting students with autism in achieving their potential. You'll play a key role in creating a nurturing classroom atmosphere and providing consistent support through:
Creating and maintaining a structured, positive learning environment
Delivering engaging, tailored activities
Supporting students in line with individual care plans
Offering one-to-one and small group support
Assisting in the development of social and emotional skills
Helping manage challenging behaviour calmly and effectively
Encouraging participation in class and school lifeThis Autism Support Assistant role is full-time, and the school offers comprehensive training and guidance to help you thrive.
