We are looking for a motivated and compassionate Autism Support Specialist TA to provide tailored autism support, ensuring students can access and engage with their learning effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
Work closely with the class teacher to provide autism support in a structured and inclusive environment.
Provide one-on-one and small group autism support, using tailored strategies to meet individual needs.
Assist students in managing sensory needs, social interactions, and classroom engagement.
Adapt lesson content and teaching methods to provide effective autism support and enhance learning.
Promote a positive and supportive atmosphere that fosters confidence and independence.
Collaborate with SENCOs, teachers, and parents to ensure holistic autism support for students.What We're Looking For:
Strong understanding of autism support strategies and approaches.
Patience, empathy, and the ability to build trusting relationships with students.
Excellent communication and adaptability in a dynamic classroom setting.
A passion for creating an inclusive and supportive learning environment.
Experience in autism support within educational settings (preferred but not essential).What We Offer:
