Location: Birmingham, UK
Salary: £36,000 per annum
Hours: 40 hours per week (Monday to Friday, Day Shift)
Job Description: We are seeking a skilled Auto Electrician to join our team in Birmingham. The successful candidate will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining electrical systems in various vehicles.
Key Responsibilities:
Wiring Looms: Installation, modification, and repair of wiring looms in vehicles.
Fault Finding & Diagnosis: Identifying and resolving electrical faults using diagnostic tools and technical schematics.
Electrical Repairs & Maintenance: Carrying out repairs on vehicle electrical systems, including lighting, battery, alternators, starters, and control modules.
Technical Support: Assisting with troubleshooting and problem-solving to minimize vehicle downtime.
Compliance & Safety: Ensuring all electrical work is carried out safely and in line with industry regulations and company standards.Requirements:
Minimum 3 years of experience as an Auto Electrician.
Strong understanding of vehicle wiring looms and electrical fault diagnosis.
Experience with modern vehicle diagnostics and electrical systems.
Ability to read and interpret wiring diagrams and technical manuals.
Relevant qualifications in Auto Electrical Engineering or equivalent (desirable but not essential).Benefits:
