Job Title: Auto Electrician (Buses)
Location: York
Salary: £39,000 - £44,000 per year
Working Hours: Monday to Friday, Day Shifts
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Auto Electrician to join our team working on buses in York. If you're passionate about automotive electrics and want to work in a supportive environment with a strong focus on safety and efficiency, this is the role for you.
Key Responsibilities:
Diagnose and repair electrical faults on buses and coaches.
Conduct regular electrical maintenance and inspections.
Install and test electrical systems and components, including wiring, lighting, and diagnostic equipment.
Ensure all work complies with safety regulations and company standards.
Work effectively as part of a team, ensuring minimal downtime of the fleet.
Keep accurate records of work carried out and parts used.Essential Skills & Experience:
Proven experience as an Auto Electrician, ideally with buses, coaches, or large vehicles.
Strong knowledge of electrical systems, diagnostics, and repair techniques.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
NVQ Level 3 in Vehicle Maintenance or equivalent qualification.
Full UK driving licence (preferably with a D1 category).What We Offer:
