Job Description
We are looking for an Automatic machine operator to efficiently and effectively run the auto operator machines and the ultrasonic welding machines for inline packing.
Working hours 06.15 - 18.30 on shift pattern 4 on 4 off
Main duties and responsibilities
* Efficiently and safely run and manage the inline packing machines
* Raise mechanical issues in a timely manner with the line leader or engineering department to minimise downtime
* Keeping the machinery in as good a working condition as possible and operating at the optimum speed
* Keep the machines maintained to minimize breakdowns and possible down time
* Report any downtime which will have an adverse effect on meeting your production targets
* Leave the machines in good working order and clean for the next shift to start
* Undertake any other duties as requested by your manager to meet the needs of the business

* Demonstrate flexibility and adaptability
* Ability to work in a changing environment
* Good communication skills
* Have ‘can do’ attitude
* Analytical skills
* Previous experience of production in line packing
* Target driven
