Job Description
An award winning Managed Service Provider are seeking a Junior / Mid-Level AV Engineer to join their growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for an "up-and-coming" professional looking to expand their skills and advance their career.
The role will offer a hands-on learning environment, with the chance to work closely with senior leadership and gain valuable industry knowledge.
The successful candidate will assist in operations, maintenance, site work, projects, and installations. This position is ideal for someone with experience but still eager to develop their skillset further—not someone entirely new to the field, but someone ready to take the next step.
This Engineer will work closely with one of the company's more senior figures, becoming their trusted right-hand person.
Requirements:
Must Have:
* Working knowledge and experience of Extron and Crestron systems, particularly in commercial AV settings (e.g., meeting rooms, auditoriums, or corporate environments)
* Experience with AV system integration in large-scale commercial projects, including setting up video conferencing systems, digital signage, and AV control systems
* Familiarity with commercial AV standards and the ability to troubleshoot, test, and maintain AV systems in high-demand environments
Nice to Have:
* Certifications such as CTS, Extron, Crestron, or InfoComm
* Experience with corporate audio systems, including conference room sound setups, ceiling microphones, and DSP (Digital Signal Processing) solutions
* Knowledge of display technologies used in commercial settings, including video walls, projection systems, and touchscreen displays
* Basic networking knowledge, particularly related to AV-over-IP, video streaming, and device connectivity in large commercial networks
* Experience with remote monitoring and management tools for AV systems, enabling proactive troubleshooting and maintenance
Salary: £30,000 - £45,000 + Bonus
