Behaviour Mentor - South London
* Monday-Friday
* 8.30am-3.45pm
* Long-term / Full-Time
Locations: Merton, Lambeth, Southwark, Richmond, Sutton, Lewisham, Greenwich, Bromley, Bexley, Croydon & Surrounding areas!

We're working with forward-thinking schools that are deeply committed to inclusive education and therefore, are seeking Behaviour Mentors to join their teams & help transform young lives through kindness, empathy, and nurture.
The Role - Behaviour Mentor
As a Behaviour Mentor, you’ll:
*
Build trusted relationships with students who may display challenging behaviour
*
Use de-escalation strategies and trauma-informed approaches to support emotional regulation
*
Promote empathy and resilience in students, helping them to engage with learning and school life
*
Work closely with teaching staff, SENCOs, and pastoral teams to implement tailored support plans
*
Provide 1:1 and small group interventions that prioritise nurture and emotional well-being
About You:
You’ll be a natural role model with:
*
A calm, empathetic approach to behaviour support
*
Strong skills in de-escalation and conflict resolution
*
A resilient mindset and the ability to stay positive in challenging situations
*
A proactive attitude—you see what needs doing and take initiative
*
Previous experience working with young people with SEMH needs or behavioural challenges (ideal but not essential as there are a handful of relatable skills)
