The position is available for an immediate start, with the option to begin in September as well. About the school The school supports students who have been excluded from mainstream education, which could be for a variety of reasons. The school therefore emphasises the importance of collaboration between staff, students, parents, and management for success. About the role: As a Behaviour Mentor, you will play a crucial role in supporting the social, emotional, and behavioural development of our students. Your responsibilities will include: Building positive relationships with students, providing guidance and encouragement. Implementing strategies to support students in managing their behaviour and emotions effectively. Collaborating with teachers and parents to develop individualized behaviour plans. Providing mentorship and guidance to help students overcome challenges and reach their full potential. Creating a safe and inclusive learning environment where all students feel valued and respected. The ideal candidate will: Have previous experience working with students in a school or youth setting. Possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Demonstrate empathy, patience, and a positive attitude. Be adaptable and able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. Have a genuine passion for supporting students' social and emotional well-being.
