Behaviour Support Assistant – Borough of Bromley – SEMH Secondary School – ASAP Start – £89–£115 Per Day – Full-Time – Alternative Provision Setting * Behaviour Support Assistant required in the London Borough of Bromley * Behaviour Support Assistant required to start immediately * Behaviour Support Assistant required to support students with SEMH and behavioural needs * Behaviour Support Assistant must hold an Enhanced DBS on the update service Do you have experience supporting young people with challenging behaviour? Are you passionate about making a difference in the lives of students with social, emotional, and mental health (SEMH) needs? Would you be open to working in a specialist alternative provision setting? If you answered yes to the above, this Behaviour Support assistant role could be exactly what you’re looking for! The Role – Behaviour Support Assistant We are looking for a calm, consistent, and resilient Behaviour support assistant to join a specialist secondary provision based in Bromley. This is a full-time position supporting students aged 11–16, many of whom have been excluded or are at risk of exclusion from mainstream education. As a Behaviour Support Assistant, you will work 1:1 and with small groups to help students develop emotional regulation, build self-confidence, and engage positively in their learning. The ideal candidate will have experience working with young people with SEMH needs, trauma backgrounds, or behavioural challenges. A background in youth work, mentoring, or sports coaching would be highly advantageous. This is a fantastic opportunity to have a meaningful impact on students who need patient, positive role models.
