Behaviour Support Worker - Preston:
Prospero Teaching are currently looking for a calm and resilient behaviour support worker to join a lovely school in the Preston area.
The Role:
Offering individualised support to children with SEN and SEMH needs
Collaborating with the class teachers, and external agencies to monitor progress
Support pupils with Autism, ADHD and challenging behavioursPosition Details:
Location: Preston
Position: Behaviour Support Worker
Hours: 8:15am-3:15pm, Mon-Fri
Type of Work: Temporary
Full time/Part time: Full time only
Minimum Rate of Pay: £105 per day, depending on experience
Start date: ASAP
End date: OngoingExperience, Training & Qualifications:
Up to date Safeguarding training within the last year (desired but training can be provided)
A Teaching Assistant or equivalent qualification is desired
Revelant experience of supporting SEN and SEMH
Resilience and adaptability in supporting student's learning and wellbeing
Team Teach training would be highly desiredELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST:
Hold Right to Work in the UK
Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
Provide two professional child related references that cover the last two yearsOTHER:
