Bench Joiner
Knaresborough, permanent, £14-£15 p/hr DOE
Skilled Bench Joiner opportunity available for a growing business in the Knaresborough area, working on standard and bespoke furniture in their busy workshop. The company offer a great working environment, they are well established with a low staff turnover and offer good training and multi-skilling to their workshop employees. The company supply kitchen, bedroom, and bathroom furniture to a range of industries and end users.
The role:
Assist in the production of standard and bespoke handmade furniture
Working from drawings to produce high quality components
Operate Edge banders, routers, band saws and beam saws
Assemble and fit furniture, doors and draws
Cut, shape, drill and plane wood using hand power tools
Fit brackets, hinges and handles
Finish all items to a high-end finish
The Person:
Ideally holding formal qualifications in Joinery
Have confident bench joinery workshop experience
A team player with a hard-working attitude
Be familiar working in a targeted production environment
Passionate about joinery
Knowledge of working with a range of hand tools, saws and wood working machinery

You must have your own means of travelling to work as this company are not accessible by public transport.
