Job Title: Bench Joiner (Permanent)
Salary: £17.00 – £20.00 per hour (depending on experience)
Hours: 42.75 hours per week
Schedule: Monday to Thursday: 07:30 – 16:30, Friday: 07:00 – 16:00

We are looking for an experienced and motivated Bench Joiner to join a talented workshop team on a permanent basis. If you take pride in craftsmanship and have a keen eye for detail, we’d love to hear from you.
What's on offer:
* Hourly rate: £17.00 – £20.00 (DOE)
* Holiday: 22 days annual leave + bank holidays

Key Responsibilities:
* Produce full-sized working rods within set timeframes
* Create clear and precise cutting lists
* Measure and mark cutting lines using appropriate tools
* Verify components match drawings and specifications
* Operate woodworking machinery and power tools
* Cut, shape, dry-assemble and final-assemble joinery components
* Fit ironmongery, fixtures, and fittings with precision
* Perform quality checks and sign off on completed products
* Support site fitting teams as required
* Prioritise Health & Safety in the workplace
* Attend training sessions and work additional hours when necessary
What We’re Looking For:
* Qualifications: City & Guilds / NVQ in Carpentry & Joinery (or equivalent)
* Experience: Demonstrable bench joinery experience
* Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
* Strong understanding of traditional and modern joinery techniques
* Excellent planning, organisation, and attention to detail
* Good communication and team-working skills
* Problem-solving ability and a positive, ‘can-do’ approach
* Broad knowledge of materials and related trades
