Job Description
Are you experienced in Bid Writing or a related field and looking to advance your career in the fast-growing construction sector? We’re recruiting for a Bid Writer in Sidcup, South East London. You’ll create engaging content as part of a dynamic Marketing and New Business team, managing bids and proposals to an elite standard.
Workman's Recruitment is partnering with a highly regarded and long-established Social Housing Contractor renowned for its exceptional service in offering building maintenance and construction services to housing associations, councils, and the education sector for over the last 80 years in London and surrounding home counties.
Responsibilities:
* Effectively manage multiple selection questionnaires and tender submissions through various stages of the procurement process
* Thoroughly review and analyse all client documentation relevant to the bid
* Conduct research comprehensively and produce compelling content to support bids
* Assist in the development and maintenance of a library of responses
* Review bid submissions meticulously for quality and accuracy
Requirements:
* Demonstrated experience working with main contractors and familiarity with Social Housing and Local Authority clients
* Ideally, possess a degree in English or a related writing-based subject
* Excellent communication, both written and verbal, and relationship-building skills
* Bid writing and tender experience
* Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint

* Salary: £40,000 per annum
