They are now seeking a dedicated BMS Service Engineer to join their growing Birmingham team. This is a fantastic opportunity to work with cutting-edge systems including Trend and Tridium, in a role that offers both challenge and reward. You'll be responsible for keeping buildings running smoothly, optimising performance, and helping clients achieve energy and operational efficiency. What You'll Be Doing: As a key member of the service team, you'll be responsible for: Conducting planned preventative maintenance (PPM) on various BMS systems, including Trend and Tridium. Diagnosing and rectifying system faults on commercial and industrial sites. Implementing software updates, reconfiguring controllers, and adjusting strategies based on performance. Monitoring BMS data to identify inefficiencies and recommend improvements to optimise building performance. Producing clear, professional service reports and communicating findings to clients. Handling reactive maintenance callouts with professionalism and urgency. Upgrading BMS hardware and modifying control panels as building requirements evolve. Building strong working relationships with site managers and end-users, acting as a trusted technical advisor. What We're Looking For: We're looking for a technically capable, proactive engineer with the following: Proven experience in BMS service and maintenance within the building services or construction industry. Hands-on knowledge of Trend and/or Tridium systems (other systems considered). A valid CSCS or ECS site card. Solid computer skills, particularly with Microsoft Office (Excel and Word). Strong communication skills, both written and verbal. A detail-oriented mindset and a positive, team-focused attitude. A full UK driving licence.
