Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Body Builder to join our production team, specialising in the construction of refuse trucks. This role involves hands-on assembly and installation of various components, ensuring the highest standards of quality and safety.
Key Responsibilities
Assembly of Refuse Trucks: Construct and assemble refuse trucks from the ground up, following detailed specifications and blueprints.
Installation of Parts: Fit and secure parts such as hydraulic systems, compactors, and other essential components.
Quality Control: Inspect and test assembled trucks to ensure they meet all safety and performance standards.
Workspace Maintenance: Maintain a clean, organised, and safe work environment.
Health and Safety Compliance: Adhere to all health and safety regulations to prevent accidents and injuries.
Qualifications
Technical Skills: Proficiency with power tools and a solid understanding of fixings and fasteners.
Experience: Previous experience in vehicle assembly or a similar role is preferred.
Tools: Must have own hand tools, including spanners, sockets, etc.
Attention to Detail: Strong focus on precision and quality in all tasks.
