Brake Press Setter/Operator – Immediate Start Available
Northampton
We are currently seeking a skilled Brake Press Setter/Operator to join our growing team. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced individual to work in a dynamic and supportive environment.
Key Responsibilities:

Set up and operate brake press machines to bend, form, and shape metal sheets to specified dimensions.
*
Read and interpret technical drawings, engineering plans, and work instructions.
*
Perform quality checks to ensure parts meet customer specifications.
*
Adjust machine settings to optimize production and maintain product quality.
*
Carry out routine maintenance and cleaning of machines.
*
Work collaboratively with the production team to meet deadlines and targets.
*
Adhere strictly to all health and safety regulations.
Requirements:
*
Previous experience setting and operating brake press machines (e.g., Amada, Trumpf, Bystronic, etc.).
*
Ability to read technical drawings and use measuring tools (verniers, micrometers, etc.).
*
Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing quality work.
*
Good problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
*
Flexibility to work overtime when required.
