Build Technician
Salary: £17-18 per hour
Location: Wickford, Essex
Hours: 37 per week; shift pattern
Early: Monday to Thursday 6am – 2pm & Fridays 6am – 1:30pm
Late: Monday to Thursday 1:45pm – 9:45pm & Friday 1:15pm – 8:45pm
Start Date: ASAP
Type: Full Time, Permanent
Syntech Recruitment are proud to partner with a high precision component manufacturer who produce complex parts for a variety of regulated industries. We are searching for experienced Build Technicians to join their team based near Wickford, Essex.

Build Technician Responsibilities:
Assemble components to meet delivery deadlines, working in line with agreed production schedules and quality standards.
Ensure all builds meet defined quality criteria, following technical specifications and inspection guidelines.
Adhere to company procedures, policies, and health & safety regulations, maintaining compliance at all times.
Operate a range of hand and power tools, ensuring safe and effective use during assembly processes.
Utilise calibrated measurement devices, fixtures, and meters to verify build accuracy and quality.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation, recording work in progress and quality control data.
Perform repairs and rework on non-conforming products as required, ensuring components meet required standards efore release.
Build Technician Requirements:
Proficient in the use of hand tools, with a strong practical background in mechanical assembly.
High level of manual dexterity, capable of working confidently with small, intricate components.
Ability to read and interpret engineering and assembly drawings, ensuring accurate and compliant builds.
Experience working with ITAR/EAR-restricted components, adhering to strict handling and compliance protocols.
Desirable: Previous experience assembling high-precision components to tight quality standards.
