Building Manager / Estate Manager – East London – Up to £50k to start
We’re working with the board of a prestigious East London development who are looking to appoint a Building / Estate Manager as follows:
* The site is situated near the Thames in East London, contains over 200 units and has facilities including Swimming pool, gym and spa
* Hours are Mon-Fri 9am to 5.30pm though you will be expected to deal with emergencies if they arise outside of these times
* There are 9 full time staff on the site, working rota’s to provide 24/7 coverage
* As the Building Manager / Estate Manager you will manage all aspects of the site, reporting back to the appointed managing agent (and board) as required
* Duties will include staff management and rota’s (concierge/porters etc.), walk-arounds / inspections, resident interaction, contractor management, reports/liaison with regards to repairs, maintenance and other budgetary items
* The suitable Building Manager / Estate Manager will have experience of managing high end sites, staff and ideally facilities (although specialist contractors attend for pool testing etc.)
* Exceptional professional presentation and communication skills are essential, as is 5* customer service and accountability.
Salary up to £50k to start, rising with length of service.
