Job Description
We are searching for a dedicated Building Surveyor to join a well known housing association in South Manchester. The successful candidate will be responsible for inspecting buildings, highlighting areas of disrepair, and providing solutions, ensuring our infrastructure remains in top-notch condition.

Description
Inspecting and assessing the condition of buildings.
Damp & Mould surveys
Identifying building defects and areas of disrepair.
Providing recommendations for repair and improvement works.
Ensuring all construction projects adhere to health and safety regulations.
Preparing reports on building condition and maintenance requirements.
Overseeing contractors and ensuring quality of work.
Contributing to the development of building maintenance policies and procedures.
Assisting in the preparation of budgets for building works.Profile
A successful Building Surveyor should have:
A degree in Building Surveying or a relevant field.
Knowledge of construction industry practices, processes, and health and safety regulations.
Experience in inspecting, assessing, and reporting on the condition of buildings.
Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to provide practical solutions.
Strong communication skills and the ability to work well in a team.Job Offer
Competitive hourly rate of circa £33ph via umbrella.
