Bus Mechanic – Burnley
Location: Burnley, Lancashire
Salary: £41,000 - £46,000 per annum (depending on experience)
Hours: Full-time, Permanent
We are currently seeking a skilled and dedicated Bus Mechanic to join a well-established team at a reputable public transport operator in Burnley. If you have experience maintaining and repairing heavy vehicles, this is a fantastic opportunity to join a forward-thinking company that values its engineering team and offers long-term career prospects.
Key Responsibilities:
Carry out routine maintenance and repairs on buses and other heavy vehicles
Diagnose and rectify mechanical and electrical faults
Ensure all vehicles are serviced and maintained in line with DVSA standards
Complete relevant documentation and ensure accurate maintenance records
Work efficiently to minimise vehicle downtime and keep services running smoothlyWhat We're Looking For:
Proven experience as a Bus Mechanic, HGV Technician, or similar
Relevant qualifications (e.g. NVQ Level 3 in Vehicle Maintenance or equivalent)
Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and diagnostic systems
A proactive approach with a commitment to high standards of workmanship
A full UK driving licence (PCV licence an advantage, but not essential)What’s on Offer:
