Are you an experienced Business Development Manager in the health & social care sector with a strong track record of delivering to targets looking for a new challenge?
Our client is a forward-thinking complex care provider embarking on a period of substantial growth over the next 12 months. Backed by a strong operational and clinical team, your job will be to open doors utilising your existing and creating new relationships within funding organisations in your region.
Managing your own diary and working from home, the right candidates will have a track record of success, bringing on new packages of care with complex conditions such as SCI, ABI, Ventilation management and neuro degenerative diseases. Regular travel to client meetings and head office will be required as part of the role.
You will be based somewhere in the South of England for this role as regular travel in the South of England is required, in exchange there will be a salary of up to £55k per annum plus car allowance and bonus.
Key Responsibilities:
* Develop and implement strategic plans to expand customer base.
* Undertake prospecting calls to generate sales leads.
* Identify and pursue new business opportunities.
* Build and maintain strong relationships with clients.
* Construct and deliver sales proposals to secure new business.
* Attend sales meetings.
* Conduct market research to identify trends and opportunities.
* Collaborate with the wider team to achieve business objectives.
* Lead on the mobilisation of new packages of care.
Requirements:
* Proven experience in business development within the health care sector.
* Strong understanding of complex care conditions such as SCI, brain injury, neuro degenerative diseases and/or learning disabilities.
* Established links with funding authorities such as ICBs, NHS, Local Authorities and Case Managers.
