Business Development Manager - Structural Steel Location: Southern Ireland - Munster / Leinster Salary: Up to €80,000 + Package (Assistant level also considered) We are excited to represent our esteemed client, a renowned specialist in the design, manufacturing, and installation of structural steelwork across the UK. With a comprehensive suite of services spanning from design to project management, they excel in delivering excellence from inception to completion. Due to ambitious growth plans, they now seek a motivated and keen Business Development Manager to join the team! New Leadership Opportunity: We are also looking to bring in a strong individual to lead our Business Development team. The ideal candidate must have experience within the steel industry and be based in Southern Ireland, ideally in the Munster or Leinster region. This role would suit someone with a background in Quantity Surveying (QS) or Contracts Management who has transitioned into Business Development (But this is not essential). We are open to considering candidates at Business Development Manager or Assistant level, depending on experience. Key Responsibilities: Proactively identify and cultivate new business opportunities, while nurturing enduring relationships with both existing and prospective clients. Manage a robust pipeline of opportunities across designated sectors, ensuring consistent growth and revenue generation. Cultivate strong relationships with key stakeholders and decision-makers, positioning our company as a preferred partner. Conduct thorough market research to identify emerging trends, potential clients, and untapped market segments. Assist in the preparation and submission of Pre-Qualification Questionnaires and maintain up-to-date supply chain updates. Develop compelling and persuasive business presentations to effectively communicate our value proposition. Candidate Profile: The successful candidate will possess outstanding communication and interpersonal skills. Previous experience in Business Development or a related field is preferred, and knowledge of the structural steel industry is highly desirable. Desired Skills: Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with a talent for building rapport and trust. Proficiency in delivering compelling presentations that resonate with diverse audiences. Adaptability and a strong ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, meeting deadlines with precision. Strong research, analytical, and reporting abilities, enabling data-driven decision-making. Proficiency in utilizing IT tools to streamline processes and enhance productivity. A proactive, positive attitude towards challenges, coupled with the drive to achieve excellence in every endeavor. Remuneration Package: In recognition of your dedication and expertise, our client offers a competitive salary of up to €80,000, along with a car/travel allowance and additional package benefits.
