Job Description

Business Development Manager – Energy Sector **Travel to Leiestershire required once every 2 weeks** Location: Leicestershire office Home based, Office Based, Nationwide Travel Salary: Up to £50k basic + Bonus About the Role We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Business Development Manager with a strong background in the energy industry. This role is ideal for someone who thrives on building strategic partnerships, particularly with Third Party Intermediaries (TPIs), and is skilled in driving business growth within a competitive and fast-paced sector. Responsibilities * Develop and maintain strong working relationships with TPIs to generate consistent and sustainable sales opportunities * Collaborate in the creation and execution of strategies to maximise the value and performance of TPI channels * Proactively manage meetings, schedules, and communications to ensure a high level of service, while considering operational efficiency and cost * Evaluate and refine existing processes and procedures for the TPI sales segment to enhance effectiveness * Provide feedback and ideas for continuous improvement and innovation in the sales approach * Lead onboarding and training initiatives for new TPIs to ensure early success and alignment with business goals * Identify development needs within the current TPI network and coordinate additional training or corrective actions * Leverage strong TPI relationships to drive high conversion rates, ensuring a strong "go-live" performance and reduced risk * Work closely with internal teams, including contract processing and administrative departments, to ensure seamless operations and support Key Skills & Experience * Previous experience within the energy industry is essential * Proven track record in B2B business development, account management, or TPI management * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a transparent and professional approach * Strong negotiation and persuasion abilities * Confident working across multiple departments and driving cross-functional collaboration * Strategic thinker with the ability to drive change and influence direction * Detail-oriented and highly organized * Energetic and self-motivated with a proactive mindset * Proficient with standard business tools and systems (e.g., Microsoft Office Suite, CRM platforms) What We Offer * Opportunity to join a forward-thinking business with a focus on innovation and excellence * Competitive base salary with uncapped commission structure * Career development support and long-term growth potential * Supportive and collaborative working environment Must have worked in the Energy Industry - Apply Now
