Known for delivering cutting-edge, high-performance door solutions to discerning clients across the UK, Spitfire Doors are now looking to appoint an experienced Business Development Manager to drive growth within their commercial market.
This is a brilliant opportunity for a commercially minded sales professional with fenestration industry experience, particularly someone confident in developing relationships with architects, specifiers, and commercial clients.
As Business Development Manager, you will play a pivotal role in expanding our clients presence within the commercial fenestration market. This position will focus on building and nurturing relationships with architects, specifiers, and developers, positioning their premium product range as the go-to solution for high-end residential developments, commercial projects, and bespoke architectural builds.
Role responsibilities:
* Identify, target, and develop new business opportunities within the commercial fenestration sector
* Build strong, consultative relationships with architects, specifiers, developers, and contractors
* Deliver product demonstrations to architectural practices and commercial clients
* Work closely with the internal sales and estimating teams to prepare and follow up on project quotations
* Track live project opportunities, managing the sales pipeline from enquiry through to order
* Provide market intelligence and competitor insights to support commercial strategy development
Candidates’ skills and experience:
* Proven track record in a business development or commercial sales role within the fenestration industry
* Strong existing network or demonstrable experience liaising with architects, specifiers, and commercial clients
* Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
* Self-motivated, target-driven, and confident working independently
* Experience delivering product presentations is advantageous
* Knowledge of premium aluminium systems and entrance doors highly desirable
* Full UK Driving License (essential)
