We're seeking a highly motivated BDR (SDR) Manager to join a leading global technology company renowned for their innovative electronic measurement solutions. This is a fantastic opportunity to shape and elevate their lead development efforts within a key business unit.
This exciting role is offered as a 9-month contract with the potential for extension, offering a fantastic opportunity for long-term impact.
As their UK-based BDR (SDR) Manager, you'll be at the heart of their growth strategy, acting as the crucial link between their business unit and the wider global sales organisation and marketing teams. You'll focus on ensuring that marketing-qualified leads (MQLs) are expertly developed and qualified into valuable sales opportunities.
What You'll Be Doing: 🎯
* Coach, mentor, and inspire their UK-based BDR (SDR) to achieve and exceed targets.
* Develop and refine effective BDR playbooks, including outreach strategies, objection handling, and qualification criteria.
* Collaborate closely with marketing and sales teams to ensure seamless lead flow and alignment on messaging.
* Monitor lead quality, maintain accurate CRM data, and work with their BDR to prioritise and follow up effectively.
* Analyse performance data to identify trends, areas for improvement, and new opportunities.
* Prepare insightful reports on BDR performance and pipeline metrics for senior management.
* Liaise with marketing to align campaigns and ensure impactful messaging.
* Facilitate the smooth handover of qualified leads (SQLs) to their talented sales representatives.
* Contribute to cross-functional meetings, sharing valuable insights to inform their overall sales strategy.
* Be willing to roll up your sleeves and contribute directly to qualifying leads or identifying new outbound opportunities when needed.
What You'll Bring: ✨
* A Bachelor’s degree with 3+ years of proven success as a BDR/SDR or in a similar sales role, and at least 1 year in a team leadership capacity.
* Experience within the software sales industry is a significant advantage.
* Exceptional coaching skills and a genuine ability to motivate and guide a team, leading by example.
* Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, and strong problem-solving abilities.
* Extensive experience with Salesforce CRM software and ideally familiarity with sales engagement platforms like Outreach.io (or similar).
* A proactive and independent approach with a strong focus on achieving results.
* The ability to build strong working relationships across different teams.
