Job Description
A well-established provider of waste management and environmental services is looking to appoint a Business Development Manager to drive new business and expand existing client accounts. The role is split between field-based work across West London / Slough and time spent at their Epping-based office.
The role will involve:
* Securing new contracts across sectors including commercial, construction, and facilities management.
* Following up on enquiries and developing long-term client relationships.
* Managing and growing an active sales pipeline.
* Upselling services such as drainage maintenance, tankering, CCTV surveys, emergency callouts, and planned preventative works.
* Preparing and submitting tenders and quotations.
* Conducting site visits and client meetings to fully understand service needs.
* Working closely with operations to ensure smooth mobilisation of contracts.
What you’ll need:
* Previous experience in business development, ideally within drainage, waste, utilities, or environmental services
* Ability to understand technical services and confidently discuss them with clients.
* Full UK driving licence
Salary: £40,000 + Commission Structure
Hours: Monday – Friday, 07:00 – 17:00
Location: West London / Slough (Field-based with office visits to Epping)
