Job Description

My Client is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Business Development Manager with a proven track record in selling commercial contract cleaning services. You’ll play a key role in driving revenue growth by identifying new business opportunities, nurturing client relationships, and securing long-term cleaning contracts across various sectors such as commercial offices, retail, healthcare, education, and leisure. Key Responsibilities * Proactively generate new business leads through networking, cold calling, referrals, and industry events. * Attend client meetings, conduct site surveys, and produce tailored cleaning proposals. * Deliver consistent sales performance against agreed targets and KPIs. * Prepare and present commercial contract cleaning solutions to decision-makers. * Manage the full sales cycle from initial contact to contract signature. * Collaborate with operations and support teams to ensure seamless service delivery. * Maintain accurate records in the CRM system and produce regular sales reports. Requirements * Proven experience in business development or sales within commercial contract cleaning or soft FM services. * Strong knowledge of the cleaning industry, including pricing models, specifications, and compliance. * Confident communicator with excellent negotiation and presentation skills. * Self-starter with a target-driven mindset and the ability to work independently. * Valid UK driving licence and willingness to travel as required. Desirable Skills * Existing portfolio of client contacts in commercial cleaning or FM. * Knowledge of tendering processes (public/private sector). * Familiarity with CRM tools such as Salesforce or HubSpot.
