Job Opportunity: Experienced Minute Taker – Children’s Social Care (Temporary Post)
📍 Location: Magdalen House, Bootle (with travel across Sefton Borough as required)
🕒 Hours per Week: 36.00
📅 Start Date: 26/05/2025
🕘 Working Hours: 09:00 – 17:30
Children’s Social Care is seeking a highly organised and experienced Minute Taker to join our Business Support Service on a temporary basis. This is an essential role supporting Strategy Meetings and other key forums, ensuring accurate and professional documentation of discussions and decisions.
✨ Key Responsibilities:
Attend and take clear, concise minutes at formal meetings
Support with general administrative duties including typing, filing, report collation, reception cover, telephone handling, and postal tasks
Liaise with professionals within and outside the Local Authority
Handle sensitive information with discretion and professionalism✅ Ideal Candidate:
Proven clerical experience and strong team-working abilities
Excellent word processing skills and advanced knowledge of Microsoft Word
Experience in formal minute taking
Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
Strong communication skills and a high level of confidentiality
Understanding of the sensitive nature of child protection content📌 Additional Information: While based at Magdalen House, the successful applicant must be flexible and willing to work at various locations across the Sefton Borough as operational needs require.
