The Role: Business Teacher – KS4 & KS5
Location: Seaton Delavel
Contract: Full-Time, Term-Time Only
Salary: £185 -£250 per day
Are you a dynamic and passionate Business Teacher eager to inspire the next generation of entrepreneurs? We are seeking an enthusiastic educator to join a vibrant secondary school based in Seaton Delaval, delivering engaging lessons to students aged 14–16.
About the Role:
As a Business Teacher, you will:
Plan and deliver high-quality lessons in Business Studies for KS4 and KS5 students.
Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback to support their academic development.
Collaborate with the Head of Department to develop and implement effective teaching strategies.
Provide individual learning plans for Learning Support Assistants to support SEND students during 1:1 sessions.
Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment that encourages student engagement and achievement.
About You:
The ideal candidate will:
Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS), Qualified Teacher Learning and Skills (QTLS), or an equivalent teaching qualification.
Have proven in-classroom experience, particularly with KS4 and KS5 students.
Demonstrate strong classroom management skills and the ability to build rapport with students.
Be enthusiastic, personable, and proactive in supporting student learning.
Preferably have experience in providing 1:1 support for students who find the work more challenging.
