his opportunity is for a Buyer working for a global pharmaceutical supplier to the UK and International markets. Working here you’ll receive great career development opportunities in a fast-faced environment.
* Job Title – Buyer
* Location – Cheshire
* Salary – £35,000 - £40,000 pa
* 25 Days holiday plus Bank Holidays
* Hours - Monday to Friday 37.5 Hours
* Sector – Purchasing / Buying /Procurement
As a key member of the buying team your Buyer responsibilities will include:
* Actively sourcing and researching new products with suppliers
* Managing relationships with suppliers
* Negotiating and purchasing products from approved suppliers
* Co-ordinating product samples and completing associated new line forms.
* Managing purchase orders
* Working closley with the operations team.
We are keen on speaking to people who have experience of buying Pharmaceuticals or FMCG or Healthcare products.
* Previous experience working in a purchasing, procurement or buyer role.
* Experience,purchasing pharmaceutical or commodity/FMCG products.
* Experience of importing products would be desireable
* Working knowledge of Microsoft Office in particular Excel.
