CAD Designer
Northampton
Monday – Friday 8-5
Salary DOE up to £30k
We have partnered with a new design team who are looking for a passionate and committed CAD designer to join them on a permanent basis.
This is a hands-on role working closely with their head of design, that will allow you growth and development in the world of design, production and CNC.
Key Duties:
Set up and operate CNC lathe machines to perform various machining operations
Read and interpret engineering drawings to determine machining requirements
Monitor machine operations to ensure proper functioning
Inspect finished components for accuracy and quality
Meet production schedules and perform routine machine maintenance.
Create programs using CAD software.
The Ideal Candidate:
Proficiency in operating CNC lathe machines
Knowledge of CAD software for reading engineering drawings
Ability to use hand tools effectively
Mechanical knowledge for troubleshooting machine issues is desirable
Experience with materials handling and tooling
Rendering experience is highly desirable or 3D modelling
A positive attitude to leaning and wanting to progress a career in designBefore You Apply
