Job Description
Canal Maintenance Driver
* Milton Keynes
* £12.21 per hour (37.5 hours per week)
* Full time Monday to Friday
* Working hours 7.30am to 3.30pm
Our client look after canal paths and waterways all over the UK.
We are looking for someone who holds a full, manual driving licence and who likes working outdoors in all weathers.
For the right person, there is the opportunity to secure permanent employment.
Responsibilities:
* Emptying bins and replacing bags
* Cutting back overgrown shrubs
* Leaf clearance
* Strimming grass verges
* Driving a 3.5tn company van from one location to another
* Clearing canal paths of debris and litter
* Litter picking and sweeping of footpaths
Experience required:
* Full, manual, UK driving licence
* A good team player
* The ability to build strong working relationships
* Reliable and an excellent timekeeper
