Job Description
We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced canteen worker, to become part of a close-knit team in Bury St Edmunds. Experience or interest in the field of Kitchen work is preferred for this role. Full training will be provided.
Hours: £12.60 per hour, working 5 days Mon to Fri from 07:00-15:30.
Free Car Park on site.

Key responsibilities needed are:
Maintain a clean and well-kept canteen area for colleagues
Food preparation tasks, such as cooking and serving meals
Regularly clean and sanitise all areas of the canteen on a daily and weekly basis
Deliver exceptional and welcoming service in a fast-paced setting
Maintain the availability of food and beverages during Breakfast and Lunch hours
Properly handle and store food, adhering to strict food hygiene protocols.
Collaborate with HR on various projects, including the coordination of themed meals and Christmas lunch.
Showcasing an independent and resourceful work approach.
Training will be provided for this role
What we would like from you:
Requires a level 2 certificate in food & hygiene
Demonstrates a keen attention to detail, as precision is crucial.
indicates strong ability to understand and adhere to instructions, both written and verbal, while also being receptive to guidance from management.
Collaborate effectively with a team and also work independently when necessary.
