Job Description

Hunts Recruitment is looking for experienced Care Team Leaders for a temp to perm position in Southampton! * £14.34 - £14.80 per hour (£31,318 - £33,000) * 42 hours per week based on 8am-8pm shifts * Based in Southampton * Sector: Specialising in the care of those with Dementia * Must have medication administration experience You will work the first 4 weeks on a temporary basis at £12.25 per hour whilst you complete a settling in period to ensure this is the perfect job fit for you. You will then move over as a permanent member of the staffing team! Your pay rate will also then increase to £14.34- £14.80 per hour depending on experience. As the recognised leader on a shift, you'll have overall responsibility for regular monitoring of the health, care and social needs of the residents, plus the preparation, implementation and review of their personal care plans, including the administering of medication. Experience and training in administering medication is vital for this role. You'll supervise, support coach and develop other team members, and liaise with people involved in resident's care, as well as with the residents themselves. Put simply, you'll ensure residents' needs and wishes are at the centre of the care provided. About You: * You must be an experienced Care Assistant, ideally with a Level 3 qualification in Health and Social Care or equivalent, or be committed to working towards this. * As a leader of a team, you must be able to demonstrate good organisation and staff management skills. You'll already be skilled in writing and updating Care Plans * You must also be competent in the administration of medication. * Above all else, you'll be passionate and committed to providing exceptional care to residents, their families and friends.
