They are now seeking a reliable and proactive Caretaker to join the team on a short term basis.
About the Role
As a Caretaker, you will play a key role in ensuring the school premises are safe, clean, and well-maintained at all times. This is a hands on role that involves general maintenance, site security, and liaising with external contractors, all while maintaining a positive and professional presence on-site.
Key Responsibilities
Ensure the school site is secure, safe, and in good repair
Carry out minor repairs, maintenance, and decorating tasks
Conduct routine health and safety checks, including fire alarms and emergency lighting
Oversee site security, including opening and locking up the premises
Support with the setup of rooms for school events and activities
Monitor cleaning standards and support with cleaning duties if required
Liaise with external contractors and manage site visits
Respond promptly to any on-site emergencies or issues
