Job Title: First Fix Carpenter (Short-Term Contract)
Location: Stamford
Start Date: 28th April
Duration: Approximately 2 weeks (with potential for extension based on performance)
Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled First Fix Carpenter to assist with roof joists, roof decking, and general building work such as propping and knock-throughs. The ideal candidate must be confident working independently and able to deliver high standards with minimal supervision.
Key Responsibilities:
* Installation of roof joists and roof decking
* General first fix carpentry tasks
* Light structural works, including knock-throughs and temporary propping
* Ensuring work is completed safely and to a high standard
Requirements:
* Proven experience in first fix carpentry
* Ability to work independently and take initiative
* Own tools and PPE
* CSCS Card
* Reliable and punctual
Contract Type: Temporary (with potential for further work if suitable)
