We are currently supporting an ‘outstanding’ college based in Cambridge that are looking for a lecturer of carpentry to join their construction team.
The position is temporary to begin with while they recruit for a permanent member of staff. This is an excellent opportunity to take on the role and if it’s something you settle into and enjoy then the role will become permanent.

This is perfect for someone with a huge passion for carpentry and eager to pass that knowledge, experience passion onto the next generation. The industry of carpentry is unfortunately an area of less interest within this generation of young adults, so it’s more important than ever for a passionate and qualified carpentry lecturer to pass on that enthusiasm and skill.
To be eligible for the role you must:
A minimum of a level 2 vocational qualification in Site Carpentry.
GCSE grade C or equivalent in English and maths Certificate in Education/PGCE/ DTLLS/DET
Application form Certificates Assessor qualifications A1 or equivalent Internal Verification qualification V1 or equivalent
Other construction/building services related qualifications
