A self-motivated candidate with great interpersonal skills to join us as a Lecturer - Carpentry within the department of Construction and Building Servies is needed to take the department to a new level. This college is a specliast college that work with all levels of SEND and are looking at somebody to join the team
The role will involve the design and delivery of the Carpentry courses to a wide range of learners, in both practical and theoretical settings. The job role will also include contributing to the continued development of the Department, providing tutorial support for learners, and carrying out the associated administrative tasks connected with the post.
The successful candidate will need to have relevant industry experience in the Construction sector and be able to demonstrate in depth subject knowledge with a level 2 vocational qualification in Carpentry as a minimum.
The successful candidate will have:
Experience in a further educational environment
Teaching qual - PGCE, DTTLS, QTS
DBS and on update service
Degree in a relevant subject
Great SEND experience
Level 2 vocational qualification in Carpentry
Desirable:
QTS
