Job Description
Contract Scotland are seeking an experienced Site Supervisors for 2 short term projects back to back in Thurso and Lairg.
This is a fantastic opportunity to take responsibility for on-site operations, ensuring the successful delivery of high-profile power projects while maintaining the highest standards of safety, sustainability, environmental impact, and quality.
Key Responsibilities:
Supervise and coordinate on-site activities to ensure work is completed safely, efficiently, and to a high standard.
Ensure projects are delivered on time while adhering to quality and safety regulations.
Foster a collaborative working environment with clients, internal teams, and subcontractors.
Implement Zero Harm initiatives and drive continuous improvement in SHEQ standards.
Conduct safety briefings and toolbox talks to ensure a safe working environment.
Monitor progress, address any site issues, and report to senior management.
Ensure compliance with project specifications, risk assessments, and method statements.
About You:
Proven supervisory experience in Power Transmission & Distribution.
Experience working on Overhead Line, Cabling, or Substation schemes up to 400kV.
Strong leadership and people management skills.
Ability to coordinate multiple subcontractors and site teams effectively.
Knowledge of health, safety, and environmental regulations.
Strong problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to site challenges.
Able to work in fast-paced, complex environments and ensure smooth on-site operations.
