CCTV Field Service Engineer
📍 Location: Bristol & Surrounding Areas
💼 Job Type: Full-Time, Permanent
💰 Salary: £35,000-£45,000 (DOE) + Overtime + Vehicle + Fuel Card
🕒 Hours: Monday to Friday (Day shifts, occasional weekend call-outs)
🔧 About the Role:
We're on the lookout for an experienced CCTV Field Service Engineer to join a well-established and expanding security systems company working across Bristol and the South West.
You'll be responsible for servicing, maintaining, and fault-finding on CCTV and security systems at commercial and residential sites. This is a field-based role, so you must be confident working independently and liaising directly with clients.
🛠️ Key Responsibilities:
Service and maintenance of CCTV, intruder alarms, and access control systems
Diagnose and repair faults on IP & analogue CCTV systems
Carry out routine inspections and preventative maintenance
Provide technical support to clients during and after installation
Complete job reports and update service logs using a company-issued tablet
Ensure work is completed to high industry standards (NSI/NACOSS preferred)
🎯 Requirements:
Previous experience as a CCTV or security systems engineer
Strong knowledge of IP-based systems (e.g., Hikvision, Dahua, Axis, etc.)
Full UK driving licence (essential)
Good understanding of network setup and fault-finding
Excellent customer service and communication skills
ECS/CSCS card and product certifications (advantageous)
