Job Description
Flux Consulting have partnered with a leading Consultancy who are seeking a Chartered Building Surveyor to join their growing team, based out of Heathrow. This is a long-term opportunity for an experienced professional looking to lead on a major residential programme and support the growth and mentoring of Junior / Assistant surveyors.
You’ll be working on an initial 3–4 year residential project, carrying out surveys of homes and overseeing a team of Surveyors. This role requires a balance of technical expertise, project leadership, and team collaboration. As part of an expanding portfolio, further projects will follow – offering long-term career development for the right applicant.
Key Responsibilities of this role to include;
* Undertake building surveys and inspections of residential properties
* Provide technical oversight and support to Junior Surveyors
* Act as Contract Administrator on refurbishment and repair schemes
* Prepare and manage project documentation including specifications and schedules of work
* Liaise with clients, contractors, and stakeholders to ensure project success
The ideal applicant will possess;
* MRICS qualification with minimum 2-3 years strong post-qualification experience
* Demonstrable experience in Contract Administration
* Strong technical knowledge of residential surveying
* Ability to mentor junior team members
* Excellent communication and client-facing skills
* Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel locally – Live within a commutable commute to Heathrow
