The Role:
You’ll provide expert business rates advice on office and retail portfolios – identifying savings, managing appeals, and helping clients minimise liabilities across complex assets including flagship offices and high-street units.
What You’ll Be Doing:

Preparing and submitting appeals to the VOA
*
Advising on empty rates relief, temporary occupation and mitigation strategies
*
Analysing property portfolios for rating opportunities
*
Managing relationships with a wide-ranging client base
*
Staying on top of market trends and legislation
What We’re Looking For:
*
MRICS qualified with 2+ years of post-qualification experience
*
Proven background in commercial rating work (retail/office focus)
*
Strong understanding of UK business rates and appeals
*
Client-facing, commercially aware and confident under pressure
