Job Description
This role offers an exciting opportunity for a newly qualified teacher to grow in a supportive, inclusive, and forward-thinking learning environment where the sciences are celebrated and resourced.

As a Chemistry ECT, you’ll:

Teach Chemistry at KS4 and general Science at KS3
*
Develop engaging experiments and investigations that bring the subject to life
*
Contribute to the school’s annual STEM week and science fairs
*
Support mixed-ability learners through adaptive teaching techniques
ECT support includes:

A comprehensive induction programme tailored to subject needs

Weekly CPD sessions and NQT peer collaboration
*
Opportunities to observe experienced colleagues and receive feedback
*
A dedicated mentor and time allocated for planning
What we’re looking for:

QTS (or on track by July 2025)

A degree in Chemistry or a closely related subject
*
Enthusiasm for practical science and student discovery
*
A reflective practitioner committed to equity in education
*
Enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain)
