We are excited to offer a rewarding position for a passionate and experienced Social Worker to join our dynamic safeguarding team in North Hull. You will be at the heart of safeguarding vulnerable children, working collaboratively with families and a range of multi-agency partners to ensure their safety and well-being. Key Responsibilities: Build strong, trusting relationships with children, families, colleagues, and partners to create positive change. Confidently communicate complex and sensitive information in a clear and engaging way to support the best outcomes. Make a real impact through your reports, ensuring they are well-structured, accurate, and insightful to guide informed decision-making. Adapt your writing to effectively communicate key information to a range of audiences. Support children and families with empathy, using clear, compassionate, and family-friendly communication to ensure they feel heard, understood, and supported. Managing a caseload of children in need, child protection cases, and care proceedings. What do you need? Professional qualification in Social Work (Diploma in Social Work, BA/BSc/MA in Social Work, CQSW as required by Health & Care Professions Council Registered with the Health & Care Professionals Council Full driving licence. Experience of assessment and planning, initiating, monitoring, developing and providing outcomes-driven services in the Children's Social Care arena. Experience of working within the legal framework for Children's Social Care. Experience of decision-making on complex/high risk cases within the Children's Social Care arena. Experience of working within and providing information/input to a range of activities related to the Children's Social Care legal framework eg. case conferences, court, looked after children reviews, strategy meetings.
