Children’s Home Deputy Manager – Ofsted Registered Service Job Title:  Children’s Home Deputy Manager Job Type: Permanent Location: Mundesley, Norfolk Days and hours of work:37 hours per week Start Date: Immediately Salary: £33,428 - £37,130 per annum, depending on skills and experience. We are recruiting on behalf of our client for Children’s Home Deputy Manager, for a 4 bedded EBD Service, which is currently at full capacity. Co-production with staff, young people and families is at the very heart of everything we do. This is an opportunity to make a genuine difference for young people in care.  You will have the opportunity to develop and shape a loving, safe home and a skilled team, using innovative research-based practice, to give the very best care to each young person THE ROLE As a Deputy Manager for this client, you would support in ensuring the promotion of the highest standard of care and to safeguard and support the development of all clients.. Join the experienced Care Management Team, alongside sixteen other managers. Use your experience lead a team which encourages children to develop a positive sense of self and ensure that professional standards are maintained to a high level. Collaborate with The Therapeutic team, who provide two days a week of therapeutic support, including advice and practical tools, to support your team to provide trauma-informed nurturing care for each child. Provide effective support to staff, including advice and guidance, reflective supervision and annual appraisal.  You will be able to guide your team's development by using extensive specialist workforce training programs. Work in partnership with young people, their family and friends, colleagues, and other agencies to achieve the best outcomes for each child in your care. Work collaboratively with our clients Staying Connected service for a smooth transition when a young person leaves care, benefiting from in-house support and their lifelong offer. REQUIREMENTS FOR THE ROLE NVQ Qualified (Minimum Level 3) in a social care related subject. You will have proven experience dealing with challenging behaviour, and establishing effective care plans with proven impact and health care outcomes Full clean driving licence Willingness to expand on knowledge and undertake training A passion for supporting individuals and encouraging independence Good communicator on all levels Excellent Commitment and reliability IN RETURN OUR CLIENT CAN OFFER A competitive salary.
