Agency Childrens Learning Disabilities Support Worker Pay rate: £14.57 - 16.81 an hour, weekly pay Reference: CSW/SWINDON/1 Are you passionate about making a positive impact in the lives of young people? We’d like you to join us at Jane Lewis as a Support Worker working with children with complex needs in Swindon! We are offering an exciting opportunity working within a residential service to provide care for children up to age 18 and offer intensive levels of support in a carefully considered environment. Please note that for this role we can only accept applicants over 23 years old with experience working with CVhildren or SEN experiencve, due to the clinical needs of the service users.* As a Children’s Support Worker we can offer you: · Flexible shifts that fit around you · Pay rates from 14.57 an hour, holiday pay inclusive · 24/7 support from our branch team · Comprehensive free training · Opportunity for further development, including access to NVQ’s · Weekly Pay · You DBS update fee covered* As a Children’s Support Worker, you will: · Be over the age of 23 to apply · Have the right to work in the UK · Have 1 year’s prior experience working with children within the UK · Have experience working win a SEN setting · Hold a full UK drivers license · Have experience with challenging behaviour and learning disabilities · Have a genuine passion working in the healthcare sector and empathy towards others All applicants will be required to complete PEG training, Suppository traing and Team Teach The duties of a Children’s Support Worker include assisting young people in developing life and social skills, ensuring the safety and wellbeing of the children in your care, and encouraging friendships and peer support amongst the children.
