Children’s Residential Support Worker – EBD Service – Marston Green
Pay Rate: £12.79 - £13.49 per hour
Sleep-In Rate: £60 per sleep
Hours: 160 hours per month
Shift Pattern: Includes long days and 6 to 8 sleep-ins per month
We are working with our client to recruit a Children’s Residential Support Worker for their well-established service supporting children and young people with Emotional and Behavioural Difficulties (EBD) in Marston Green.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone passionate about making a real impact in the lives of vulnerable young people, working as part of a dedicated and supportive team.
Role Responsibilities:
* Provide high-quality care and emotional support to children with EBD
* Support with daily routines, activities, and educational needs
* Promote positive behaviours and independence
* Contribute to care planning and accurate record keeping
* Work as part of a consistent team, including completing long shifts
Candidate Requirements:
* Previous experience working with children or young people in a care setting.
* Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare (or a willingness to work towards it)
* A calm, patient, and resilient approach
* Full UK driving licence
* Commitment to safeguarding and supporting the development of young people
